On this day, last year, the Uncharted movie came out last year, on February 18th, 2022.
And so, to celebrate this anniversary, I wanted to post my review on what I think of the movie itself.

For every time that Chloe and Sully betray Nate, they pay for it.
Movie keeps you guessing as to whether Chloe, Sully or both will remain loyal to Nate.
Plane fight was perfectly recreated(remember that the games are also over the top)
The Novelisation included a romance between Nate and Chloe that gave more depth to Chloe. While one deleted scene with Nate + Chloe on the balcony was released, there is an unreleased deleted scene (that was clearly filmed and in the movie, due to behind the scenes footage and Chloe suddenly being much friendlier to Nate when they are looking at the postcards, despite them arguing in the previous scene) from Chapter 18 where she apologizes to Nate and kisses him. She comforts him, while he briefly mourns his brother. Even when Nate is leaving the fake co-ordinates, he kisses Chloes head while she's sleeping. In the end of the book, instead of saying "Bastards", Chloe actually smiles and says "Well played Nate". These deleted/alternate scenes should be released either on their own, or as part of an extended cut, since it makes Chloe more complex and likeable.
Despite being miscast, Tom Holland handles comedic banter, emotion and action brilliantly.
Mark Wahlberg handled comedic banter well and could have had good emotion if he was given a better script.
Sophia Ali was fantastic as Chloe and the best casting in the movie.
The climax was perfectly over the top to match the games and was an original set piece.
Nate stealing from innocent people earlier in the movie, shows that he's not a saint, thus validating Chloe's fears about him.
Chloe not running Nate over with her car, not shooting him when stealing the map, risking her life to save Nate while they were both falling and leaving a letter apologizing to him at the beach resort, shows that there is good in Chloe.
