The Uncharted movie was pretty good despite its flaws and I'm looking forward to a sequel. Personally I think that some of the currently released deleted scenes have actually improved the movie, due to adding more character development i.e Nate and Chloe Balcony scene, Alternate first meeting between Nate and Sully, Nate and Sully in car, Braddock trying to shoot Sully( link to deleted scenes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVjh25BRRHo&ab_channel=Cinevizual)
After doing research, I've found that there are more deleted scenes that haven't been released
Example 1 - A scene where Nate and Chloe kiss at the beach resort and her alternate goodbye to him where she says "Well played Nate". Since Nate and Chloe's kiss was in Chapter 18 of the Uncharted Movie Novelization and a test audience saw the Nate and Chloe love story, the kiss scene was clearly in the film.
Example 2 - Apparently there were also several scenes between Nate and Sully focusing on their friendship that haven't been released ( a link for the article proving this - https://www.8days.sg/entertainment/hollywood/uncharted-director-ruben-fleischer-interview-596216 ). e.g A scene from Chapter 7 of the book where Sully warns Nate about what greed does to people which was apparently in a TV Spot
Example 3 - The director Ruben Fleischer claims that the movie was over 2 hours long originally in this interview between (4:42 - 5:58) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kavsLCtoahI&ab_channel=ColliderInterviews
A lot of fans have responded very positively to the deleted scenes released so far(Check Youtube Comments and Tweets for Uncharted deleted scene clips) and this could get them excited for a sequel. The Uncharted Movie is more deserving of an extended cut than Spider-Man No Way Home(which is a great film), since some unreleased deleted scenes and released deleted scenes being put back into the film would greatly improve the character development(e.g Return of the King extended cut, Zack Synders Justice League, Daredevil 2003 Extended cut etc ). Even just releasing more deleted scenes would be amazing.
If enough people could contact Sony by Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc to request more deleted scenes to be released or maybe even an extended edition, we can make this happen, similar to Sonic getting redesigned. I can't do this alone.

While I liked this movie, the biggest problem I had was that there were way too many betrayals, which took away from bonding between the 3 main characters and fleshing out the villains. This rough draft could give this movie the heart and depth that the games have.
1. Chloe's 3rd betrayal made her too unlikeable and caused her to be left out of the climax. Her alliance with Moncada made no sense, since Scotsman still attacked Nate(even though Chloe was the mole) thus jeopardizing Moncada's plan and Chloe knew Braddock was with Moncada (the woman she presumably knew killed Sam and was a killer that Moncada hired). Also Chloe not telling Nate about Sam made her even worse. She should have gone through a character arc where she learns to be more trusting. Introduce her during the auction heist where she's working on her own. Chloe has a fight with Nate and he loses to her. When Nate and Chloe go under the church, have Chloe save Nates life from the spikes(instead of the spikes conveniently missing Nate)At the scene when they find the map, have her join Moncada because (1)it's easier to get to the gold that way and due to this, she doesn't see how bad Moncada is and ends up in over her head, similar to what happened to her in Uncharted 2 with Zoran) and (2)due to not trusting Sully(his past reputation as a conman). Have Nate fight Chloe then lose in a chase with her, instead of being hilariously knocked out like a moron. On the plane, Chloe realizes how ruthless Moncada is and he orders the goons to kill her. Instead of Nate stupidly facing the goons head on, make it where he puts his life and getting the treasure at risk to save Chloe, who is about to be killed and because of this, Sully gets ejected from the plane with the map, supposedly costing Nate the treasure. Thus Chloe would finally trust Nate fully, due to seeing how selfless he is. Also, have Moncada cause Nate to fall out of the plane and then Chloe pushes a parachute crate out of the plane with her on it to save Nate, even though she could have chosen an easier way to escape, thus showing her selflessness and growth as a character. At the beach resort, Nate and Chloe grow romantically closer, have Sully find them at the beach resort and together they find the real location of the treasure. Have Chloe take part in the final fight, where she kills Scottsman and Nate kills Braddock. At the ending of the movie, while Chloe has learned to be more trusting, she and Nate decide to part ways for now, after sharing a passionate kiss.
2. Sully lying to Nate about Sam made Sully too unlikable(and Chloe since she knew too) and messed up Nates motivation for going after the treasure while also taking away the emotion from Sully sacrificing the treasure. Make it where Sully used to mislead people and hold back on details, but due to Sams supposed death, Sully changes. Have Sully tell Nate about Sam's death when they first meet and focus on building their bond, while they decide to go after the treasure both for money and to honor Sam's memory. Also don't have Sully already know Chloe and Braddock, since that's a lazy excuse to avoid fleshing out characters. Sully could mostly be comic relief while also helping out(similar to the games) while also having some comforting and insightful moments with Nate and later Chloe.
3. Moncada didn't have enough screentime with Nate/Sully/Chloe and Braddock wasn't developed enough to be worthy of taking over as the main villain at that point. Braddock having supposedly killed Sam felt very tacked on. Instead, flesh out her character more or have her be intimidating and funny like the Scotsman. Have both Braddock and Scottsman kill Moncada when they find the gold.
Still a good movie overall, due to fun characters, great action and being well paced. Hopefully a sequel can focus on building character relationships and making the villains more memorable, instead of constantly trying to subvert expectations by having characters backstab each other.
