Uncharted Wiki

The 92FS - 9mm is a high-performance semi-automatic pistol featured prominently throughout the Uncharted series. It serves as a superior alternative to the PM - 9mm and the .45 Defender, boasting a faster rate of fire, a larger magazine, and a higher total ammunition capacity.

It is the signature sidearm of Nathan Drake, Elena Fisher, and Zoran Lazarević.

In Among Thieves, the 92FS is the default secondary weapon for player spawns in multiplayer. The weapon appears in Drake's Deception as the Silenced pistol, and in the multiplayer of A Thief's End as the Agarwal .40.

History[]

Drake's Fortune[]

In Drake's Fortune, the 92FS first appeared in the chapter "Heading Upriver", where Elena used it to clear explosives and hostiles. Nate later acquired the weapon in the following chapter, "Sanctuary?", from Atoq Navarro's mercenaries, who utilized it as their standard sidearm.

Among Thieves[]

In Among Thieves, the 92FS was introduced early in the campaign, though it was less common among Zoran Lazarević's soldiers during the later chapters. Nate was equipped with one upon reuniting with Elena and Jeff, both of whom also carried the weapon. Zoran Lazarević used a 92FS to execute Jeff during "Keep Moving".

The pistol featured prominently in several cutscenes, such as in the chapter "The Road to Shambhala", where Nate used a seized 92FS to take a soldier hostage. Later in the same chapter, Harry Flynn briefly lent his 92FS to Nate to repel disguised guardians. The weapon was also used by Lazarević in the final standoff against Nate and Elena, and was the final firearm used in the game when Nate killed a guardian to save Chloe in the final chapter "Tree of Life".

While the 92FS was largely replaced by the Para 9 in Drake's Deception, it appeared in the opening cutscene and returned as the Silenced pistol. It was used by Nathan Drake, Victor Sullivan, and Charlie Cutter as a primary weapon in the chapters "Run to Ground" and "London Underground" until their ammunition was depleted.

Elena continued to utilize the 92FS throughout the narrative, and it proved highly effective in the chapter "One Shot at This". In this iteration, the weapon's power was increased—it was capable of one-shotting most unarmored enemies—but its utility was limited by its rarity and a reduced magazine capacity of eight rounds.

The 92FS appeared sporadically throughout Golden Abyss, retaining the same characteristics seen in Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves.

In A Thief's End, the weapon was exclusive to multiplayer as the Agarwal .40. It was a DLC weapon obtainable through DLC weapon chests or for 250 Uncharted Points. It also served as Elena's primary sidearm during the Libertalia chapters of the campaign.

Characteristics[]

The 92FS - 9mm is a highly reliable semi-automatic pistol modeled after the real-world Beretta 92FS. Throughout the series, it is characterized by its balanced performance, making it one of the most versatile sidearms available to the player.

The 92FS offers a significant tactical advantage over other starting pistols, such as the PM - 9mm. Its primary strengths include its moderate stopping power, typically requiring three to four body shots or a single headshot to neutralize standard unarmored enemies. It features a standard 15-round magazine in most titles, allowing for more sustained engagements than the .45 Defender or Para 9. Additionally, the 92FS exhibits low recoil and high first-shot accuracy, which makes it effective at medium ranges. In Drake's Deception, the silenced variant prioritizes stealth while retaining high precision.

The weapon is visually distinguished by its open-slide design and dark matte finish. While the model received high-fidelity texture updates in Among Thieves, its core aesthetic remained consistent with its appearance in Drake's Fortune. In the multiplayer of A Thief's End, its counterpart, the Agarwal .40, retains the classic silhouette but features a customized finish.

Medals and trophies[]

In Drake's Fortune and its Remastered version, achieving 50 kills with the 92FS - 9mm unlocks a 10-point medal and a bronze trophy titled "50 Kills: 92FS - 9mm" (note: the requirement is 20 kills in the original game). In Among Thieves and its Remastered version, the same feat grants a $10,000 medal and a bronze trophy. Golden Abyss includes an identical bronze trophy for 50 kills.
