The Copperhead SR7 is a fully-automatic scoped rifle featured in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
Overview[]
Singleplayer[]
The Copperhead SR7 is first found in chapter 13. The Copperhead is quite common and is dropped by all types of shoreline soldiers, but mainly the bigger soldiers.
Multiplayer[]
The Copperhead SR7 has low damage, high rate of fire, moderate recoil, and adequate accuracy. It is best used mid to long range.
Modifications[]
- Starting Ammo
- Scoped-in Radar
- Reload Speed
- Silencer
- Blindfire Accuracy
- Scoped-in Speed
- Clip Capacity
- Recoil
Tips[]
- Keep in mind that the recoil pulls to the right during continuous fire.
- The Copperhead can be a viable replacement to the FAL and the Mettler M-30 if you prefer a fully-automatic weapon and/or you want a scoped weapon.
- The Copperhead has less damage per round than the Mettler and FAL but compensates with having a better range and an faster rate of fire.
- The main downside to this weapon is that (because of it high rate of fire) you lose ammo quickly and can mean you might need to reload unexpectedly in a middle of a firefight .
- To counter this problem you can use the extra starting ammo and/or the clip capacity modification.
Design[]
- The Copperhead SR7 is based on a Ruger Mini-14, fitted with a pistol grip and rifle stock, Aimpoint CompM2 red dot sight, and a somewhat oversized Ruger GB flash hider.
- The weapon has been extensively modded with an Archangel stock, an adjustable gas block, oversized ProMag magazines instead of the standard metal ones, and the removal of the factory front sight. It fires in full-auto which would be appropriate for an AC-556, though it lacks a fire selector.
- The developers may have taken inspiration from a set up like the one shown in these pictures:
