Eddy's Golden Gun is a weapon that appears in both Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It is also featured in the motion comic Uncharted: Eye of Indra.

DescriptionEdit

The weapon can instantly kill enemies with one shot, and is similar in appearance to the Desert-5.

Uncharted: Drake's FortuneEdit

Eddy Raja uses the Golden Gun numerous times throughout Drake's Fortune. He shoots at Nathan Drake when he escapes from a prison cell on a jeep,[1] and also shoots the descendants with it.[2] There are other times when he pulls out the gun as well.

Uncharted 2: Among ThievesEdit

In Among Thieves, this gun is only available in the store. The player must complete the game at least once to be able to purchase it. In the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Brutal difficulty needs to be completed to unlock it.

Uncharted: Eye of IndraEdit

The gun also makes an appearance in the Eye of Indra motion comic series. Eddy aims the gun at Drake when he finds out he slept with his sister, Rika Raja, and he also uses the weapon to shoot Daniel Pinkerton's henchmen that guard his mansion while he and Drake try to steal one of the Indra artifacts. Eddy's Golden Gun is used to kill Pinkerton by Rika at the end of the motion comic series.

TriviaEdit

  • This weapon is a recolored Desert-5. On the grip of the gun, there is a crimson dragon on a white ceramic plate.
  • This weapon was based on the Golden Gun used by Francisco Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun.
  • Eddy uses a golden gun in the motion comic Uncharted: Eye of Indra. His sister Rika takes this at the end, however, so the gun Eddy uses in the game is possibly another one as it has a different firing sound.
  • During the development of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, the gun appeared to be silver.
  • When Drake uses his Level 3 Super in Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, he gets Eddy's Golden Gun to kill his opponents.
