This article refers to the artifact. For the motion comic, see Uncharted: Eye of Indra.
The Eye of Indra is one of the three artifacts of Indra. The other two are the "Path of Indra" and "Wrath of Indra". It is not clearly stated if the Eye of Indra or any of the other Indra artifacts have some kind of supernatural power behind them, but they are worth a fortune. The Eye of Indra is the main artifact/treasure in the Uncharted: Eye of Indra motion comic series.
History[]
Eye of Indra[]
In Uncharted: Eye of Indra, Nathan Drake is hired by Daniel Pinkerton, who already has the other two Indra treasures, to look for the Eye of Indra. Pinkerton remains elusive as to his purpose in uniting the three artifacts of Indra. To Mr. Pinkerton, it's the most valued Indra artifact to him, but he doesn't know that the Eye of Indra is already inside one of the Path of Indra in his safe. Nathan, Rika and Eddy Raja plan to rob Pinkerton to get the Eye, but Nate and Eddy are captured and tortured by Pinkerton.
Pinkerton forces them to tell him where the Eye is and finds out it was in his safe all along. He smashes open the elephant statue (i.e. the Path of Indra) that contains the Eye of Indra, but is shot by Rika once he discovers it. Rika takes off with the Indra treasure on a boat, leaving Nathan and Eddy empty handed.
