Treasure sets are a means of unlocking skin customization options, custom weapons, and extra playable skins in the multiplayer mode of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
Overview[]
Occasionally, when an enemy is killed, they will drop a treasure. This treasure can be picked up by either the player, or their buddy. Although the treasure can be picked up by the player's buddy, it will be awarded to the player as they are the one who has earned the kill. Only treasures that can be picked up by either you or your buddy will appear onscreen. If a treasure has been dropped for your buddy, it will have a green marker. Note that certain treasures can prove extremely rare. Also getting "just cash" rewards or old treasures is much more frequent than getting new ones. However, with patience and a some luck, rare treasures will eventually drop.
