Henry Avery 's crew are the pirates who found Libertalia and inhabited Turtle Island. They also had the treasure of Henry Avery.

Henry Avery, Thomas Tew, and ten other pirate captains pooled their treasures, and founded Libertalia, an island off the coast of Madagascar, and advertised it as a utopia for pirates. However, the large sum of the treasure eventually led to a civil war; the founders stole the city's treasure and moved it across the island to New Devon, an extravagant and well-fortified town built for them. Libertalia descended into conflict over the treasure, with the founders killing all the colonists. In-fighting between the founders began, until they were all poisoned by Avery and Tew. Realizing that it was only a matter of time before Avery killed him as well and take all the treasure for himself, Tew and his crew battled Avery's, ending with the two of them killing each other on Avery's ship, the Fancy.
