- This weapon is a great mix between a sniper and a assault rifle. It's a very versatile weapon and can be used in nearly every situation.
- The main downside to this weapon is when blindfiring and fighting at close range, as the fire rate drastically hinders the player.
- The Mettler M-30 is a good alternative to the M14 Custom, as it has higher damage, more ammo capacity, and a faster fire rate.
Facts[]
- The gun was named after Jocelyn Mettler, best known as the face model for Abby in The Last of Us Part II.[1]
The Lost Legacy[]
The Mettler M-30 is unchanged from A Thief's End and is a common weapon used from Chapter 3 - "Homecoming" onwards in The Lost Legacy by Asav's insurgents.
Design[]
The Mettler M-30 is based on a Ruger Mini-30 Tactical, with a jungle camo synthetic stock and ACOG-ish optics. The weapon has some skewed proportions, such as the 20-round 7.62x39 magazine its fitted with being thicker than it should be, and a very stubby fore-end.
