Speed Run Mode is a game mode featured in The Nathan Drake Collection. It functions as a standard playthrough with the addition of a heads-up display (HUD) timer tracking total playtime for the session. Several trophies are tied to this mode; each game in the collection includes a trophy for completing the story on any difficulty within a specific time limit (e.g., two hours and thirty minutes for Drake's Fortune). These runs are continuous rather than cumulative, meaning players must complete the game in a single session to improve their total time rather than replaying individual chapters.

An additional trophy series is awarded for completing a continuous speedrun while playing as Doughnut Drake.
