Trials: Set up as pseudo competitive matches, players go up against enemy NPC opponents with the goal of getting a high score using specific multiplayer mechanics.
PlayStation's official description
Trials are pre-made matches that can be played in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer.
Overview[]
In Trials, the player will fight enemy AI/NPC using certain multiplayer mechanics, such as Gear, Mysticals and Sidekicks. They are three levels of difficulty for each Trial: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Completing a trial on Easy will reward the player less Relics than completing one on Hard.
Relics reward system:
- Easy: 50 Relics
- Medium: 100 Relics
- Hard: 150 Relics
- Note: You can only get the reward once for every Trial you do. Re-playing the Trial will not give you more relics.
Completing Trials matches is an efficient way to learn how each of the multiplayer's mechanics function, and to give the player a chance to master them before you playing against other humans. Trials can also be played to quickly earn Relics, as most Trials can be completed in under five minutes.
