Hey Tim, I'm messaging you on mobile to inform you that I temporarily lost my internet due to a severe storm that hit my city, so I won't be able to do any editing or get online. But anyways, keep taking care of things here as usual until I return, thanks! - RB1196 (talk) 20:44, May 29, 2019 (UTC)
- Hello message, I'm Tim, we were wondering where you were! We'll hold the fort, no worries. --Tim H – Talkpage 20:52, May 29, 2019 (UTC)
I'm sorry about the recent edits to the Shoreline page of the Uncharted 4 Wiki. I had no idea that I'd be "flooding the changelog" by doing so. It was my first time trying to contribute to a large subject like this and i didn't even know about the sandbox option. I usually got stuck formatting the photos to fit and now looking back, there might have been too many of those.
I spent a lot of time on this and I wasn't even done yet. I would like to go back to repair and finish up the article, if possible.
once again I'm sorry if I made any inconveniences,
Thank you for being reasonable and nice. I will edit the page in my sandbox and will be sure to ask you for approval before posting it when it's done. Also, thanks for the tips and the link to that Style Manual. I'll try to keep true to it.
- Because you keep adding non-notable or redundant shit. Next time I'll throw in a month-long block. --Tim – Talkpage 21:00, May 26, 2020 (UTC)
Hello, Tim. I didn't registered an account yet. Just I want to tell you something. I didn't came here for trouble. Just I want to tell you that the MP40 was used by the Nazis and Nathan Drake. Just that. 184.108.40.206 13:42, June 9, 2020 (UTC)
The Use parameter exists only for actual characters/organizations that use it the relevant weapon in-game, so not during past events. --Tim – Talkpage 14:33, June 9, 2020 (UTC)
End of a conflictEdit
Descendants and SpanishEdit
True, there is definitely some overlap between the two, but as far as I can tell the Spanish are most relevant to the hidden island and the descendants from DF, with their only notability from GA being historical artifacts? --Tim – Talkpage 11:47, July 20, 2020 (UTC)
Yes but shouldn't we write about all information. First of all the descendants were a mix of Nazi and Spanish people. Also, historical persons on GA are Spaniards. Is Marcos de Niza for example a descendant?--Unidentified user 2005 (talk) 09:27, July 23, 2020 (UTC)
As far is known only one nazi soldier became like the descendants (their ancestors, to be exact), the rest were presumably wiped out. Turning the Spanish redirect into a disambig page seems like a fair compromise to me. --Tim – Talkpage 15:24, July 23, 2020 (UTC)
Doesn't the Spanish have more notability on the buildings more than of being descendants? And the colony was lost, so that means that the more Spanish are against the descendants because the descendants wiped them out, like the Nazis. Why to redirect the enemy of the faction to that faction? Spanish article will be good if it is separated than some idiots who brought El Dorado, this people were the descendants. --Unidentified user 2005 (talk) 08:24, July 24, 2020 (UTC)
No not really, the Spanish history in DF is largely tied to the island, and anything relevant is covered there (which is not much), as well as the descendants, who are essentially the descendants of the turned Spanish population (however many that is). A Spanish article would essentially be redundant because it just covers information already on other pages. --Tim – Talkpage 09:28, July 24, 2020 (UTC)
The possible number of infected is unknown. But sure were people who were not and wiped out like the Nazis. For example Juan de Velasco and Marcos de Niza are clear not-descendants so Spaniards without being mutated were for example that persons. For infected Spaniards is the Descendants page. For the non-infected? You say all Spanish are descendants with them including people that were not. --Unidentified user 2005 (talk) 15:11, July 25, 2020 (UTC)
Yes hence why I made it a disambig instead. --Tim – Talkpage 15:12, July 25, 2020 (UTC)
But what about the historical organization? Shouldn't we write both a disambiguation and add an infobox and a text about the group? Just for the people to know.--Unidentified user 2005 (talk) 15:19, July 25, 2020 (UTC)
I already explained an article on the Spanish as a whole would be largely moot / redundant. --Tim – Talkpage 17:47, July 25, 2020 (UTC)
