The XCR is a weapon in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
Overview[]
Singleplayer[]
The XCR is only found in Chapter 7, where it is used by the Rossi Estate guards.
Multiplayer[]
The XCR is an assault rifle with low damage, poor accuracy, high recoil, small clip size, limited ammo, and a very fast fire rate. It is best used at close range.
Modifications[]
- Starting Ammo
- Reload Speed
- Silencer
- Aimed Strafe Speed
- Accuracy
- Clip Capacity
- Blindfire Capacity
- Recoil
Tips[]
- The XCR is a great weapon in close-quarters firefights and close-range 1v1 encounters.
- The main downside is that the XCR performs poorly at mid-long ranges and in battles involving multiple enemies.
- The Fossa R-81 is a good alternative to the XCR, as it has similar damage and rate of fire.
Design[]
The XCR is based on the Robinson Armament XCR assault rifle, with modifications such as an end-cap, paddle magazine release and a bolt-mounted charging handle.
Trivia[]
- Excluding Heavy Weapons such as the ARX-160, the XCR is the only long gun in Uncharted 4 with a fire rate of over 1000 RPM.
- It is essentially the successor to the KAL-7 from Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, as both are stockless rifles with an increased fire rate at the cost of accuracy.
